Garden and landscape lighting works best when it’s designed around your home’s layout, not added as an afterthought. During your consultation, we’ll help you plan the best locations for garden and landscape lighting, outdoor power points, automatic gates, pool and spa equipment and other outdoor electrical services.

Getting the layout right before landscaping, driveways and concrete go in helps you avoid costly mistakes, and means power and lighting can be installed exactly where you want them. For a knockdown rebuild, this is one of the easiest places to save money, because fixing it after the concrete is poured is expensive.

Solar & Battery Review and Consultation

When you’re building a new home, you don’t have to take the builder’s full solar and battery package. Many rebuild clients keep the builder’s inclusion to the minimum, then add to the system after handover at a cost they control. We help you plan the system so that expanding it later is straightforward, including making sure your switchboard, mains and cable pathways are ready for a bigger solar and battery system.

After handover, we install the additional solar and battery capacity and take care of the paperwork for you, including the relevant documents and dealing with the authorities and your electricity distributor. Camera & Alarm Review and Consultation

Security is one of the easiest parts of a new build to overpay for, and one of the hardest to fix once the walls are lined and painted. Before you finalise your build contract, we review your plans and the builder’s quote for CCTV cameras and security alarm systems, and check what’s included, what’s missing and where you may be paying more than you need to.

We work with established brands across a wide range of budgets, so you can choose a system that suits your home and your finances, and add to it over time. Many rebuild clients take only the minimum from the builder, then have us install the full camera and alarm setup after handover. The groundwork is the part worth getting right before handover: cable pathways to camera positions, power at the right locations, and space for the alarm panel and network gear. We’ll tell you exactly what to lock into the builder’s scope so the rest can be done later without cutting into finished walls.
